As I was greasing the tractor this morning, couldn't help but notice the bolt that holds the pitman arm to the steering box, appears to have backed off.

What is the process of tightening this back the original specs.......and what are the specs??

Thanks for any/all help.

I had thought the same when I took delivery of my L2501. The dealer's service tech was at my house for a tie rod related issue and and checked the nut and said this is a normal condition.

The shaft looks slightly tapered so the nut only has to pull it up a small amount to get a tight fit

Correct. The Pitman arm will not go all the way up the taper. Good point, Russell.
