Hi to all, I am a newbe here, new to Kubota. Having a blast moving dirt, gravel, firewood and generally having a great time. I was getting a little nervous about the 50Hr service...
I have been reading and watching videos about doing a 50Hr Service on my new BX2380/FEL.
A common thread seems to be that the factory puts the filters on to tight and require much effort to remove. Often deforming the filter with a filter wrench trying to get a good bite. I just did the oil and transmission service and used an old strap wrench I had from years ago. It is a bar with a fiber strap, the end of the bar connects to a 1/2" ratchet. Worked perfectly, no struggling, no busted knuckles, easy for both filters. Hope this helps someone out there!
Back to having fun,..
