Out in the property today digging out rocks for my driveway expansion project. The LX2610 paid for itself this month in boulders & rocks that someone piled fairly neatly in the woods before I was born. Maybe 100 years from now someone else will be moving these saying “why the hell did would someone pile these here?”

These B2650s can move some pretty heavy stuff. I think this is the biggest piece I've tackled lately. Had a whole wall to haul away.
That's a nice looking set up!

Got the lime down last week and today, cut the weeds off my clover food plots.
All that’s left to do now is to chalk the base lines before the first pitch (opening day of archery season)

Did one of those stupid things that you know are stupid but still do them anyways. Got the zero turn stuck in the creek. Got a few scratches on the rops. Breaking it in.

Did some more work on my buddies new driveway. He had the grid stuff already in place, all I had to do was move grave, from the pile and dump it down the edge. I did it in a trickle instead of just dumping the bucket so that the edges didn’t fold over.

Well I've been down for a few weeks front bearings went, blew seals. I tore all apart the kubota dealer screwed me over bought all new bearings and seals for whole front axle. Still missing 2 bearings that they told me they gave me but it was all in the box they handed me except 2 bearings that are 65 bucks each and that they never put in box. 2 of the 85 dollar seals were ripped in package and they told me that all sales are final that they wouldn't replace them. Grr very irritated so I sent my wife Amazon hunting for parts. She cam through the 85 dollar seals that took kubota 2 weeks to get were 23 dollars and received in kubota packaging in 2 days. The bearings she went to local auto parts store for. And saved there too. But my knee which is getting reconstruction surgery in a little over a week is killing me, she found a mechanic to come put back together on site. He got it all together changed oil and filter, removed snowblower frame, changed hydraulic oil and filters, air filter fan belt, filled front axle with fluid we used kubota udt2 and got me all up and running. So I'm there thinking on site mechanic big $. Oh boy so how much do we owe ya? He said well would you do a trade? Um yea I like trades, knowing I'm going to be down with knee a while, he said yes you got a ton of fire wood I need 2 cords for deer camp, up I'll even deliver it for ya so 2 happy people. I wish this world would do more trades, bet your fair trade agreement pollotitions couldn't do a trade like that and be happy they would be to butt hurt over the few less trees to tax.thsnks

Well today I checked and toped off fluids greased and moved some lumber and stuff around with the kubota, then went and narrowed my buddy's massey Ferguson and loaded with newholland about 50 round bales and unloaded with the Massey tomarrow going to be wrapping dry hay do to not enough indoor hay storage. And not enough money or time this year to build a big hay barn with knee surgery, and lumber so high it will wait.

Finished the rock garden today. Used the BX to move the mulch. Nothing like an $18K wheelbarrow!

What exactly is that "grid stuff"? And how well does it work to stabilize things? (I'm guessing that's the purpose)

Did another couple hours of rooting/grapple work and then took the grapple off and hooked up the mower deck.

It’s called Geogrid. It’s an erosion prevention system. No idea how well it will hold up. But I will check on it and see how well it works next spring. That’s the time for it to shine lol

Woke up to a nice gentle rain. Time to get the burn pile roaring!! Three hours from start to finish. Love the grapple. (I better not mention which brand. LOL!) The pics can't show it but the beginning brush pile was about 20ft wide, 30ft long and packed solid to a 6ft height.

Trying to finish my driveway expansion. Not a big fan of working in the rain. Thanks to the 3point breaking. It’s slower going. Have to dig up the dirt with the backhoe. It’s rock hard clay. Probably be able to dig with a tooth bar but I don’t have one.
