It appears the two hydraulic hoses closest to the stick are leaking at the connection point on the loader control valve.

I first noticed the leak about a week ago. I cleaned the area up to confirm it wasn’t from assembly but, I checked the tractor out after working it yesterday and fluid is everywhere.
I found the two hose fittings weren’t fully tightened. I tightened the fittings and cleaned the valve, hoses, fittings and the tractor again. However, this afternoon I inspected the area again and those fittings are still leaking.

The tractor has 15 hours on it. Is this an easy fix or should I contact the dealer?

Are they leaking at the threads or the quick coupler? Have you tried disconnecting and then reconnecting the fittings?

If you have already snugged them up, and they are still leaking, I would contact dealer.

They’re leaking at the threads.
And yes, unfortunately, they are still leaking after tightening them up.

If the couplers thread on, I would be inclined to remove them and put some pipe sealant on the threads, and reinstall. ONLY because getting the tractor back to the dealer for repair is a hassle, and probably an expense, unless you have a great dealer that will transport it for free, which is unlikely. And if you have your own trailer, still time consuming.

DO NOT use Teflon tape if you do this. Use pipe dope paste, or whatever the proper term is.

A new tractor with dealer installed loader should not he leaking anywhere at 15 hours. This is something the dealer should be quick to pick up and fix at no charge to the new owner.

I'm going to stop by the dealer tomorrow and discuss the issue with them and see what they're willing to do.

Heavy sigh. I’m now tractor less. The dealer just picked up my L2501 to repair the hydraulic leak. They plan on getting the tractor back to me next week.
