Still too wet to do anything. Did get to change all the fluids in it tho (except hydraulic fluid). Oil change, coolant change, front axle change to 75-140, air and fuel filters. Was going to wash it and grease it but rain moved in.

Dont know if these been brought up here, but these funnels are great.

They aren’t mess free but greatly reduce it. The plastic bottle floating around keeps the splashing down when its gurgling. Also you will lose a small amount when removing, but sure beats trying to hit the radiator fill with a jug around the loader and hood. Dont have air at the house to bring home the vacuum fill kit which is pretty much spill free.

I do like the looks of the work with that rock rake. What brand/make, and how much did it cost? (If I'm allowed to be that nosy).
nothing fancy, just a LR1660, it has the larger gauge wheel set (aired tires) and hydraulic angle. It is my go to for material spreading! I do wish I bought the 72" one though.

I finished the bottom of the driveway plantings. Today was just installing the edging and mulching the bed. Tractor is mighty handy when mulch pile is 500' away. Tomorrow just do some housekeeping cleanup.

Went and got myself the QH05. It’s comes with a set of lower pins, a top pin bushing,6 washers, and the three pins to attach it to the 3point. Just under 400 cdn. I picked this one because then I don’t have to worry about buying any lower bushing for my 5 attachments.

I’m still trying to find a Canadian source for a hydraulic top link. Dealer only can get ones that are 18” retracted and the bx series needs to retract to 16”

Ouch, that's pricy. Good lookin QH, though. I'm not sure why there's so much hype about the welded gussets etc in all the different variations. The hard part is keeping the three points in the same place for all pieces of equipment, and then making sure that the connection between the tractor and the equipment is strong. The frame to hold the spacing really doesn't have to be that strong that I can see. A box beam type like that, mandrel bent, with attachment points made from appropriately sized metal should be just fine. Mine weighs more than I can currently hold up with my left arm. Good ol' rotator cuff ain't so good ol'. Being as right handed as I am (can't scratch my nose left handed), that makes putting the QH on a little difficult. I've learned some tricks with it, though, and marked my stabilizers for where the pins go when I have the QH on versus the 3PH drawbar. The TowMaster (Harbor Freight) brand ain't without it's problems, but I've watched enough videos to figure out that the QH "standard" isn't very standard, especially across classes, and more especially when making one that's supposed to be compatible all the way up to Class III. Mine's listed as a Class I, but has Class II hooks on it. Go figger. But, it was $89 US. I can fidget and modify it to improve it without worrying about what it costs. If I screw it up, it's fairly cheap to replace.

the selling features for this one, is I can pick it up with 1 hand, and no need to spend money on bushings for bottom pins, I need to just flip the pins on my finishing mower and it will fit, only attachment I haven’t measured yet is my back blade that I rarely use. I counted wrong, it’s 6 items for the 3pt when I count my trailer hitch attachment.

Does the hood on your tractor hinge at the front? I can see where that might be a little inconvenient.

yup,the price hits hard, but I could get it in orange (also comes in black). It was in stock and is guaranteed to work with my 3 heaviest attachments. Box blade, tiller, and snow blower. All landpride and all QH compatible. I had back surgery so some days muscling attachments around is quite the chore.

Check princess auto. They offer two different units but don't come with check valves although it looks like they carry those as well. I am interested in one but haven't dug into it yet. I would also check with a hydraulic shop if you have one nearby.

Got 30 yards of fill delivered to start expanding my driveway so we have room for guests to park and say turn a trailer around. It will also be the start of a gravel path around to the garden and back yard where I put my gate/corner fence posts for a new fence with the post hole digger the other day. A great couple days running the machine and doing house projects. Really glad I didn’t go any bigger, cost aside a larger machine would be a bear to maneuver in around my property. Not to mention it would have sunk like a stone in a few places!

If it wasn't such a pia to drop the post hole digger in the soggy backyard today I would have tried it out.

I mowed. Only the high spots and very quickly. Was wet, but another week of wet weather coming.

Could get a few bales of hay if I left it....

I was at a barn last week and the guy set his post hole digger next to a post and used a ratchet strap to tie it upright.
Thanks for the tip

Currently I store it under our deck in the back. It's about 10 feet to the ground and I use a weatherproof (supposedly) chain hoist. Its just awkward taking it on n off. Not hard but a lot of back and forth with the tractor. With all the rain we had the last 24 hours, the backyard is way to soft to take the tractor there.

BUT I do have a 4X8 pressure treated post at one end of the yard. Used to support one end of a hammock. Now that's a possibility :)

Repaired a broken water line today. Didn't take much digging but, I'm really getting spoiled with the KX. I did some digging with the BH77 last week and it was painfully slow compared to the KX. Like night vs day.

Quick shot of the digging rig...
