I have a BX2380 with only 60 hours. The quick connector for the hydraulics for the FEL has been disconnecting more often to the point where it's happening about every 10 minutes when I'm using the loader. I'll hear a click as the handle pops up and the loader stops working. Anyone have any solutions or do I need to take it to the dealer which is a two hour drive away?

Yeah.............get rid of that piece of crap manifold system and replace with 4 pioneer couplers. That system is a joke.

does yours not have a lock pin for the handle? Ive only used it on my 2020 BX23S and there is a locking pin. I have 90ish hrs and have had my loader off about 8-9x at least with no issues

Yes, it does have a locking pin; that little red knob. It locks when I connect it but doesn't stay that way any more.

Given that you live in Alberta and it is winter for a while longer, try calling your dealer. It is under warranty, and they might ship you some parts you could change out yourself.

I've been lucky I guess, mine has never leaked or given me any trouble whatsoever. Hope it stays that way.

Dealer did 2 recall warranty repairs (new manifold each time) and neither lasted more than 6 months. Since I modified mine it hasn't leaked yet in 2+ years, and when and if it does it is a 2 dollar fix I can do myself. Simple solution for some idiot college boy engineer's cheap design.

I can appreciate the ease of the new flat face manifold system, mine hasnt started leaking, yet. It certainly does simply things. But is it really that hard to pull off 4 individual connectors? You have to get off the tractor to disconnect the 3rd function hoses anyway. Seems like the whole thing was a solution in search of a problem.

I like the new design, but can see me going @orange crusher route down the road...

@Henrik something has got to be up with the spring-loaded locking pin

Locking pin could be slightly bent, in the meantime, I would wait til it warms up a bit, use some heavy duty zip ties to secure it.

There is something I didn’t think about. I’m getting the 3rd function parts installed. they are installing the manifold between the loader arm and the frame on the left side. In my new guy thread I posted the pics of it installed on the rops, I’m having them move it.

The zip ties are working as a temporary fix. Thanks. I'm leaning toward @orange crusher 's suggestion of individual couplers. The manifold doesn't save a bit of time (or frustration) when you have to reconnect it every 10 minutes.

I think going to individual connections is a good idea, I had the swift-tach connector on the BX I had previous, I had good luck with it but I knew of the cases that weren't so lucky. So when I moved up to the LX I have now, I opted for the standard FEL with individual connections. I don't find it any less convenient than the manifold hook-up on the swift-tach.
