Good day gents. I run a small demolition and land clearing company in South Florida been doing this for about four years and absolutely love it, except for the machine downtime! I recently purchased a 2017 SVL95-2. I purchased it from an auction in non-running condition. The listing stated that it had an electrical problem not a fire just an electrical problem. Finally got delivered the machine and went into diagnosing. Turned the ignition on and light turned on and I got a loud buzzing sound coming out of the back right corner of the machine about four seconds later the machine went dead. I was able to locate where the sun was coming from and it is the glow relay next to the ECU. I was told that more than likely one of the hot leads running into the glow really had a short so I open the harness and trace the wire back to the fuel heater. After opening the harness I turn the ignition back on and the buzzing went away and was able to get the machine to turn over. It would still not fire off so I went into diagnosing the fuel system from my diagnostic the fuel system is working properly had fuel all the way up to one of the ports on the common rail. Only way that I can get the machine to fire is a rag with gasoline on the intake no other way of getting it fired as of right now. The only codes that are showing up is it a 9519 which I believe is a DEF code and 9200 which is the mass airflow sensor been disconnected because filter housing being disconnected. Thought maybe it was an ECU problem so I took it out and put it into another machine the other machine fires up with no issues or codes it’s going to be about another week before I can get my buddy out to put the computer on it and help me out. Was just wondering if any of you veterans have any idea of where to look for this issue or how to diagnose it on my own without the computer thank you again for any possible information.
