I would like to know the specifics of the rear wheels on my B2910.

Of course I could measure and hopefully accurately determine the wheel lug bolt (and stud) hole circle diameter and the wheel pilot size. But I think to get an accurate measurement I would have to remove a loaded tire.

I would rather just find the measurements somewhere. Would make life easier.

Is there someplace where this kind of information resides? I would think there must be, otherwise how would wheel spacer manufactures, for example, know the specs for the great number of different tractors they make spacers for?

Anyone know?

eserv,

That's a very useful document you posted and the first time I've seen anything like it posted before. Is it possible to post the info for the Grand L30, L40 and L60 tractors?

Ok, what's P.C.D. mean....
Pitch Circle Diameter. The diameter of a circle that passes through the center of the lug bolts or studs...

One back at ya: What does gear ratio mean? I am guessing it is the speed difference between front and back wheels when in 4WD. I am planning to take a quick measurement of my tires and see if I come up with about the same ratio.

Second edit: I remembered to measure my tires. Front little less than 22 inches diameter. Rear about 36 inches diameter. 36/22 = 1.64; Chart says 1.672. The ratio would be the same if circumference were used, since pi (3.14) would cancel out. So gear ratio likely represents speed ratio between front and rear tires.

Thank you very much for posting the info.

Is it possible to repost the Grand L one above. It doesn't seem to want to open.

In what document is this information published?

A gear ratio is the ratio of the two gears pitch diameter.

The size of the front tire diameter to the rear tire diameter is similar but is generally expressed in the rolling circumference ratio between front and rear tires due to the slight flat spots and the difference that makes in the diameters.

eserv, where is this data coming from? I only ask since the information for the b9200[HSD] is incorrect. The rear axle's P.C.D. is 150MM vs the listed 170MM. The Ops manual lists the specs and I measured it when investigating whether B2650/B3350 rear rim/tires would fit; they did btw.

Ok, that might be why I was seeing multiple drawings and PN for the rear axle with the same tire size; CA and other parts of the world got different a different bolt pattern.

Thanks for the information, it still will be useful.

How are you feeling btw? Hopefully lots better.....
I'm much better thankyou! Pretty much back to normal for 67 years old. Super busy this year downsizing from an acreage to a modest house in town in the middle of a pandemic but all is good!
