Barely made my LX2610 sweat. Pulled my Roll A Dock out of the lake for the season. New to this home and was told dock had not been removed for 13 years under prior owner. Obviously they didn't have a Kubota!

I used the l2501 to pull my 15 kw onan rdjc diesel generator down to my fence along with the welder to weld a gate that broke due to being poorly welded with not much penitration.. it pretty much just poped off taking the weld with it..

Also can't have both well and septic on lots of 5 acres or less.

Wow, interesting limits..... with just a 100’ separation, it’s odd that both can’t exist on a lot less than 5 acres.

In New Yorkistan, for some types of sewage systems such as dry wells, minimum separation is 150 or 200’ to a well; 100' is allowable for conventional leach fields with normal absorption trenches.

Could certainly be an issue of geology/soil types you have in Texas.

Probably service the blower and hook it up shortly. Don’t have much dirt work to do with the loader.

Surprises me at how much the chains have stretched over the years.

Often asked this time of year...I do NOT use wheel spacers, although many do.

I just make sure the chains are tight, and "cheat" them a little to the outside of the tire...

Got 20 of the above trees installed today. Round 2 tomorrow. Not looking forward to it. When I had the landscaping business, I always disliked day 2. Although, maybe it really wasn't so bad because I was being paid to do it then?

This job will certainly spill over into day 3 for sure. I have to take it a bit easier these days. I do not want to have to go back to the surgeon to repair hernia mesh.

Oh well, my front yard is looking like a boreal forest.

You guys with B2650's and a hoe...do you have trouble staying planted when running the backhoe? I have a difficult time getting anchored. I was thinking of maybe picking up a 12" bucket. I think the 16" puts a lot more pressure on the hoe before break out and I don't have the weight in the tractor to keep me from sliding towards the hole. Just curious.

Think of the options. You could be sittin on couch suckin chips and beer or you could be using tractor to plant trees. Use common sense and continued success planting remainder of trees!

I have the 12" bucket with my BH77 cuz I wasn't thinking about bucket sizes when I ordered my tractor and equipment or I probably would've opted for the 16" bucket. I'll probably buy one yet. But if I had it originally I would probably be getting the 12" bucket also. Both have their uses. I do have the quick change adapter and the BXpanded ripper tooth which is a game changer when you need to remove a stump completely.

To answer your question: Yup, I slide towards the hole/stump/etc. even with the 12" bucket. But at least it's not bending the hoe's stabilizers if they were locked in solid with the ground. Still, I'm going to fab up some larger pads with a little more bite because the ground I work in here is more on the softer side. It would help keep the pads from sinking in so much and stop a little more of the back sliding. Especially when digging on established turf. Another winter project for the to do list.

I agree, the cone /\ of influence is 100' from the well head.

When I use my little B670 hoe, I roll the FEL bucket completely upside down so that when I plant it, all 4 edges bite the ground.
I also made oversize pads for the outriggers. Helped tremendously.
