Beautiful morning up at the top of Mt. Washington. It was like a hurricane last night.

Fun fact, Mount Washington holds the record for fastest wind speed in the U.S. — a 231-mph gust in April 1934. It was the world record for over 60 years, when a 253-mph wind was recorded during a typhoon off the coast of Australia.

Our Daughter lives in Longview and she had a rather large tree uprooted and fell on her portable building she has set up as a nail salon. She was out of business anyway from the virus shutdown so maybe she can get her insurance rolling and be set up by whenever she can reopen
here is a photo. I took some more but none do justice to how big it really is.

Only damage we had was my wife's wishing well over the well head. The wind blew it over and cracked the roof supports. I'll need to sharpen my woodworking skills and fix it... and give it a nice coat of boiled linseed oil too. Pretty dried out.

The killer tornado was determined to be mostly an F-4 and periodically reached F-5, traveled 64 miles and was two miles wide. The widest in the state's history.

There sure seems to be a shift in "tornado alley" to the East in the last few years. What do folks in Miss, Ark have for shelters?

Do you know what we call 60 MPH winds here? Tuesday.
I tell my friends in Florida that at least they get to name their hurricanes.
When my wife shops for outdoor furniture we look for weight, will it hold up to wind. Bought one of those resin/plastic sheds, it lasted one night.
Went out the other day, no wind and I am so used to leaning into it that I almost fell down.
At least we don't have to worry too much about the virus, it blows down to Colorado.
Hope everyone stays well and is navigating the New World Order.
