Normally I could give a shit what you boys do but when it effects others that's a different story. As for what you say or think about me have at it, I'm very thick skinned, just don't expect me to reply. I've been a member of many forums this one being the best and with all of them I've come across some of the toughest guys I've ever met when their hiding behind their computer screens. Let's see how tough you are when you or one of your loved ones are laying in a hospital bed with a tube down their throat fighting for their life because you wanted to be the tough guy and brought this virus home to them. I would never wish this horrible decease on any of you whether I agree with you or not. All people are being asked to do is follow the rules for a short time of your life. I't a damn good thing you're old enough when many received a notice or opened their door only to be handed a notice that you have been drafted. You think you're whining now, you would have been calling for mommy back then. Now have at it boys but please start you're own thread dedicated to bashing me if you like. I started this thread with the intention of us all pitching in to help one another. Please keep well and stay safe.
Exactly, especially with Covid. Being cavalier causes it to spread and that spread can be to your loved ones. With no vaccine you can only mitigate and if mitigation means some inconvenience on the part of others, I'm all for that.
I don't feel like my 'rights' are being trampled which in reality they are somewhat but for good reason and that reason is because a percentage of 'adults' today cannot act like responsible adults so someone (in this case governors and the government itself) has to implement rules and regulations because the 'sheeple' cannot do it voluntarily.
I'll be elated when a vaccine is developed, believe me, I'll get vaccinated post haste. Until then' I'll adhere the the 'guidelines' set forth by people who know a helluva lot more about Covid than I do. Besides, I have a compromised immune system from cancer and I'm old (70) so for me to get it would probably be a death sentence. So far so good, but my wife and I are adhering to the mandates and rules set forth by those who know.
I have no issue with doing that at all. Is it inconvenient ? Sure is, but certainly better than having a tube shoved down my throat (been there did that) and until you have experienced it, you don't have a clue what it entails nor do you have any clue about what happens afterwards.
It's (Covid) no joke. Death from the virus is tantamount to drowning in your own bodily fluids as your lungs can no longer aspirate oxygen. Not pretty and I don't believe, unless you enjoy a painful slow death, you'd be comfortable with expiring that way.
Sure, they can give you Morphine so you don't experience any discomfort as you expire but I don't want to go that route and I don't believe any sane person wants to.
I could be wrong though, lots of wacko people out there today.
