Lots of things wrong there but I won’t criticize lol;). I love rolling up to a prius at a red light or even passing them on the highway (cause most owners here think they only go 40-45 mph) and giving them the coal shower from my 6.0.

That's pretty darn good..my 2018 RAM 3500 dually with the 6.7 Cummins is only averaging 19mpg.

I've hooked up to my max tow (31K) a couple of times and was under 10mpg. Do any uphill with that weight and you DO NOT want to know.

It's amazing what these diesels can do when you let it coast :) *big grin*

I have a little ford ranger, 2wd, I have to try to get up to 20mpg. My dad has a 3/4 ton 4wd dodge with a cummins, without trying, he gets mid 20s

TPMS light is in, better check your inflation pressure. Mileage is dependent on rolling resistance of the tires....

Saving the environment is all about driving a plug in hybrid or so they say....

I lowered them all down, afraid I would put the mileage over 100mpg and end up with a carbon credit ticket.

How in the world are you getting 19 mpg. Thats surprise me as really high.

By the way what rear end ?

I already know about the mileage in hill country or when towing at 70 or 80. Seeing 7.8 to 9.5 real regular.

I live in the mountains, I get about 18MPG with a 09 GMC 2500HD with a 6.6, I even get that towing a B7100 and a 20 foot flatbed. ;)

Good luck lol. We dont see a whole lot here and its probably because they only offer the diesel 150 in platinum and king ranch (maybe recently in lower work truck models if i recall). But at 60-80k for a diesel 1\ 2 ton, they can get into a gas or diesel 3/4 ton truck

Around here the 65k-80k F150 Platnuim or Raptor is common, more so than the XL, or XLT levels, they are not used as trucks, they are suburban luxury/status cars for doctors and such. Price doesn’t seem to be an issue, people keep buying them, but I haven’t noticed a diesel. Maybe because it’s not fast enough, I don’t know.

Here the F250s and F350 tend to be work trucks and most of them less $ than the luxury F150s. The luxury F150 buyer wants the quiet smooth ride of a luxury car, the bouncy ride of a 3/4 or 1 ton truck with a solid front axel is a no go.

"everyone" says the 24v 5.9's are mid 20's. I have on, 2003 2500 4 door 4x4 (going to flip it) and cant see any better than 19 if I drive like there's an egg between my foot and the pedal. It is WAY over-rated. My other truck (that I am keeping) is 2003 F250 crew/short bed/4x4 with a 7.3/auto and it sees over 20 often, mostly in the summer since I drive it mostly in the summer. It's much more comfortable too, and quieter. The big difference is that the doge is easier to "work on" (reg maintenance); other than that it's a dog. It's a turd unless the turbo is packing the pipes. The 7.3 motors along with 1 psi the same as the dodge does at 10. The Ford will absolutely destroy it in a drag race (verified, I AM a drag racer so yes if there's any curiousity, it goes to the track). It doesn't pull any better, if anything it's a little slower due to lack of horsepower above 2200 RPM. It is not that impressive. The truck is uncomfortable, the brakes, ball joints, rotors, calipers, and transmission are all inferior, honestly the only GOOD thing about it is the engine.

On my F250, it's seen 99.9 mpg many times....right after you reset it rolling down a hill. The highest avg MPG I've seen (hand calculated) is 22.6 and to get that you must be on totally flat highway and under 60 mph/1800 RPM. Did that for 175 miles, stopped, refilled and calculated. Didn't believe it, and did it again on the way back, which showed 22.2. The meter said 23.1 so it's close. The dodge will do about 19ish MPG give or take depending on the conditions it's used in but I don't plan on keeping it and don't care about MPG; all I care is that its GONE out of my life ASAP before something else on it starts asking for more money. Both trucks have 216,000mi.

Are you running stock with emission stuff or deleted and tuned?
As far as I can tell it's bone stock, bought it used with 49K miles.

It was a Canadian truck, so I don't know if they did anything different emissions wise on those trucks.
I have several people I know that have similar year and models and none of them runs the way this does, they are slower and get far less MPG then I do.
It's odd in a couple ways, It's faster than any other comparable truck I've ever driven, I mean this thing flys with and without a load.
And it gets excellent fuel economy, and I don't drive it like a saint either.

Someday I might get a chance to dive into it and look into the systems further, but for now i just run it and enjoy it. ;)
