Looking to move my snowmobile trailers around the house with my tractor. Only option I have seen is to drill a hole in my front end loader and place the ball there. Really don't like that. Anyone here have something different?

I bought a Heavy Duty 3 Point 2" Receiver from Tulga Fifth Wheel. I takes the same ball that I use with my truck. I also bought a ripper that mounts in the 2" receiver. Additionally the 3 point hitch receiver has a nice loop that I use to pull up small trees with a chain. Having all these work off the 3 point hitch makes it really versatile. It may not have the same lift range as the FEL but it still has a lot of lifting power. And moving a trailer around is more natural when the trailer is being towed instead of pushed with the ball in front of the tractor.

Just my experience so far.

Both my buckets are drilled for a ball mount and my hay spear(bucket spear) also uses the hole in the bucket. No big deal for me.

Lil Foot... How do you see the ball well enough to make the hitch-up?

Would making such an adapter to fit the TOP of the bucket work better?

(I do REALLY LIKE your adapter idea.)

I move trailers to mow around them and don't want to remove an implement to put on the ball mount. I got one of these for the Quick attach front loader.

Here is where to get them.

Having it level is the key to removing and installing back on. I block up mine with jack stands and ratchet strap the legs in the up position, saves on space.

No problem, visibility is good. I just roll the bucket back a little to see the coupler, then level it out for towing. The tongue height on most of my trailers is pretty low, not sure if I could get under the coupler if the ball was on top of the bucket.

My neighbor bought a new hitch receiver that bolts to the top of the bucket, and found he could not get low enough to get under the tongue of his dump trailer. He borrowed a stinger with a 6" drop so he could hook up the the trailer.

I made this up one afternoon. Works fine and I use it a lot.

I made one of those years ago, never used, never will. If someone wants it, come get it.

I'll take some pics of it later.
