Hey guys, maybe I am looking for the wrong thing, or calling it by the wrong name... I am trying to find an external mount switch box that would be weatherproof to hold rocker switches for ROPS lights.

Many thanks to anyone who helps out !!!

Technically speaking you should not modify or drill holes in the ROPS to mount anything. It supposedly weakens the cage. If you insist, a Marine online retailer like West Marine will have what you require.

I know nothing....

AutoZone and Advance have rocker switch boxes that may be similar to what your looking for.

This is what I used to make my switch box. Other sizes available depending on how many switches you have. You can see what I did in my thread l3200 light upgrade. It***8217;s not mounted to the Rops tho.
That's what I was thinking of using. I'm glad to know it works out. I like the switch plate assembly you have, mind if I ask where you got it from ?
If I were doing it again, I would get a "project box," I think they call it, like FordTech specified, and a weatherproof switch from NAPA. Mine is a conglomeration of electrical and plumbing parts....but it's worked for several years...

You might be able to use a junction box for trailer wiring but not sure if there is enough open space without surgery on the terminal block

Switch Panel, FABOOD 3 Gang Waterproof Rocker Switches Panel with DC 12V Digital Voltmeter / 3.1A Dual USB and 3 LED Lights Switchs for Marine Boat Car RV https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0732XTN65/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GqfgCbW0W2Z7V

This is what I ordered. The plate didn’t work out with the box. I ended up cutting the holes in the cover that came with the box. Had no use for the usb charger on the tractor as well but that kit was cheaper then buying the three switches separate that were labeled like I wanted. I added the other round switch for my sprayer but have not got to that project yet. I used that box to hold my fuses and relays for the lights, except for the front light bar. That relay is right at the battery. Mine isn’t all that water proof anymore though. I drilled drain holes in the bottom of the box in case water did get in, but I never leave the tractor out if it’s going to rain. I was just thinking about when I wash it.

The pull box shown in RCW's post is the way to go. You can drill the cover and add a weatherproof switch. The box is PVC and has a gasket. Between rubber gaskets and heat shrink tubing you should be able to assemble a waterproof unit with little trouble.
