Of course they don***8217;t work now, they worked fine for a day. Guess photobucket is being deleted off my phone.
Ok! Ok! I can certainly see those ones! If I scroll the screen far enough! <lol>
Wolfman is right, those rear tires are automotive tires. Once you get the tractor driving again, I suggest you check the rolling circumference of them. With the tractor in 2wd and it's full weight on the tire, mark both tire and the ground. Roll the tractor forward until the tire has made exactly one complete revolution, mark the ground again and measure the distance between the original mark and the new. The original turf tires would have had a rolling circumference of 86 inches.
In 2wd, it doesn't matter. Anything that will fit on the rim without rubbing on something is fine. But in 4wd it is important that the smaller diameter front wheels travel approximately (within 3%) the same distance as the larger diameter rear wheels to avoid excessive strain, wear and tear on the drive system. Kubota calculated the gear ratio between the front and rear axles with specific tires in mind. In the case of the B7100, the inter-axle ratio is 1.464 -- ie: the front wheels rotate 1.464 times for every revolution of the rear wheels (when driving straight, obviously that changes when the differentials kick in during cornering).
If your tires are significantly different, then I suggest you avoid use of 4wd, reserving it only for times when it is really needed, like if you are stuck in loose soil.
Personally, I keep mine in 2wd when operating on the road or any other packed surface even though my tires are in spec because the actual rolling circumference varies with wear and load and tire pressure and anything else that can affect the sidewall stiffness. For example, the Carlisle Multi Trac C/S tire in the same 29x12.5-15 size as the original Firestone OEM tires (RC 86") are listed by Carlisle as having a 90.2" RC. The difference could be the actual diameter, the sidewall construction, the air pressure or the load each particular manufacturer happened to use when they rated their own tire.
