Got it all finished today. Tied in and tested :D

Loader is a little slow to dump, but raises and lowers faster then I expected.

Was gonna use an auxiliary hydraulic pump on it. But ran into clearance issues for mounting the pump and hooking up a coupler to it.

An let's face it. $14 in fittings verses $200 plus for an auxiliary hydraulic pump, and oil tank :D

Kubota solves the slow dumping concern with what they call "regenerative hydraulics" The control valve is constructed so they direct oil to both ends of the cylinder for dumping. this makes the cylinder effectively the volume of the rod on the out stroke.

Front PTO splines wore out on my L185DT, I was wondering if your tie in is still working and where you found the fittings???

Thanks in advance

Ok, thanks, I have spent over an hour looking and will keep looking.
Here's a link for eBay for the fittings I ordered for my tractor. Check shipping, judging from the price they are coming from China. So figure 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.

Darren, that is how mine is hooked up with an adapter block....

Where can you get the adapter blocks, looks like a less invasive then cutting the lines. I ordered the compression fitting but they will not be available for a month or 2. I have the L2000DT which matches your picture, but it's not as clean as yours.

You can can send 007kubotaguy a message and see if he has one. But..... on mine, the block wouldn't work. The L1501 was missing the much needed port.

I talked with him Monday and he didn't have any. My loader was already mounted but needs the feed lines and control valve and associated fittings. Any reason why you didn't use a straight fitting with a 1/2 female end, just thinking less turns better flow.

The 90's on the compression fittings made it easier to route the hydraulic lines out of the way. There were also some clearance/ rubbing issues, and not much room to route the hydraulic line. They were actually compression by 1/2 NPT, but I had to reduce to 3/8 JIC fittings.

Hello Daren
I have installed lots of loaders on the older L 225 ,L245 ,L295, L345 tractors all ran off the tractor hydraulics. Yes not as fast as a front pump, but more then acceptable. I have removed lots of front pumps and switched them over to run off the tractor hydraulics. No one has ever complained about speed.I would say it is about 60 to 70 Percent as fast as a front pump. And a lot cheaper .If you decide to run it off the tractor and need a adapter block let me know, I will send you one.
Good Luck Lance
Hey Lance I am trying to put a loader on my L175 do you have any adapters to run off my stock Hydraulic system?

Get my hydraulic fittings finally :D And they fit

Ordered two 12mm compression fittings with 1/2"NPT threads. Cut the pressure line added the fittings. Tomorrow I'll hook the subframe back up and install the loader :D

Hello I am trying to do the same to my L175 might be a dumb question but why did you put both in the pressure side? Shouldn’t one be in the return side to let the pressure off of the hydraulics?
