I am restoring my "new to me" 30 year old B219 FEL for my B7100. Everything functioned well before I tore it down for sand blasting and powder coat. All of the hydraulic lines are weathered, cracked and the metal braid is beginning to rust. So, I have been looking for an economical place to buy replacements. Locally, the hoses can be made for 30 cents/inch plus ends. I will need ten 1/4" NPTM hoses 13.5 inches and 16 inches, two 1/4" NPTM hoses 20", and one 3/8" NPTM hose 52". I found this site, www.surpluscenter.com, that sells assembled hoses. They come in 6" increments, so I would have to replace the ten 13.5 & 16" hoses with 18" ($5.50 ea), the two 20" hoses with 24" ($6 ea) and the 52" hose with a 60" ($10.95ea). These prices are much more economical than OEM or made-up hoses. The 1/4" hoses are rated for 2750 psi and the 3/8" is rated for 3000 psi. Am I missing something and will the excess 2 to 8 inches of hose cause me any problems.
