Fed-X just dropped them off, Disappointed ....

But it was short lived, I guess they could have painted the tips GREEN

All in all - Very well made and for $101.74 can't complain about the bad choice of paint on the tips ! :D

Just need to find a set of chain binders.

Very nice, Bill!!

I got a similar pair from Titan a couple years ago. Great deal at the time, too, but don't remember the $$ amount. I probably bought the wrong ones for the tractor.

Mine are longer - which isn't good for a BX. Been thinking of cutting them back to something like you have.

Do you know what each fork weighs? What is the working length of the fork itself?

Think mine are ~50 lbs each and 46 or 48" working length.

Lighter version had less robust clamp and still weighed 45. My clamp looks like yours - more heavy-duty.

Mine are great and very well made - just a little too much for a BX sometimes - and I don't want to shorten the forks too much.

I got a set for my BX as well......definitely over-kill! But I can't fault a company for making heavy-duty stuff.

I wish someone made a light duty "brush spear" attachment for the BX....think 6 or 7 tines, maybe 30-40" long, mounted to a single bar that would bolt or clamp to the bucket. Something you could scoop up smaller brush piles with. I'd be all over that!

Here's a rake/mover I made about 20 years ago for a B8200. The ears fit over the loader bucket. Bucket had a 2" ball on the top where most have a hook. The come-a-long has a loop welded on the end that fit over the ball and then tighten the come-s-long snug. Works fine. Easy to make. Used old barbells cut off at angles.

pretty sure they weigh 35lbs each as the package said 70lbs on it when they dropped it off.

I recently came across a set at northern tool where the whole pallet fork attachment weighs 100 lbs. quik load or load quip or something was the brand. For my bx I have a set of titans but they weigh almost 300lbs...the bx runs out of lift capacity quick, so these lighter ones are worth a shot. kubota wanted around $1k for theirs, I think I paid around $300

Not trying to hi-jack Bill's thread, but can you guys post photos of your forks? Would like to see the clamp especially, too. Also dimensions would be great!

Guessing Bill's are 2x3"? Is that correct, Bill? (And sorry for the 'jack)

Bought mine a couple years ago, so don't remember much. Seems ~$160 or so with the center bracket. Mine are 2x4x48" working length of the forks, 50 lbs each, with a heavier clamp than another model @ 45 lbs each. I wanted the heavier-style clamp.

The 50 lbs isn't as big a deal as the 48". Knew it was overkill at the time, just didn't realize how much.

Like dalola said - not Titan's problem - they are VERY well-made! Thinking of cutting mine back to 36".

never mind - just bought a set of the 2x3x30" forks!

Will just put a longer bolt in the other 2x4" stabilizer bar!

Don't bother, but thanks for the offer. Have another set coming more suited to my tractor. 2x3x30" at 30 lbs each.

Not Titan's issue - I'm an idiot sometimes......:p:p

Hey, thanks!

Mine will be delivered tomorrow - very quick. Says package weight is 60lbs. Much better than I had...

Figure for $100, just get a better-sized set....again, that was my doing....

RCW: what forks did you order? Even the smaller Titan ones might be overkill for a little BX.

I got these. 30" working length with 2x3" tube. 30 lbs each.

I think these will work fine for what I need.

My others already have a buyer.

D2Cat, that is kind of what I was thinking....maybe even less heavy-duty that that, yours looks pretty heavy. If I ever get time to piddle, I may try to make something of my own. Thanks for the pix!

Dalola, your welcome. It's made with part and pieces I had laying around.

I use it for a lot of things, from a manure fork to setting a pressure washer or stump grinder on to load on a PU. Just last week I used it on my L4240 to get under an air conditioner pad to move it and the condensing unit out of the way for a project.

I bought the 43" LW Clamp on Pallet Forks specifically to unload a pallet with a 250lb LP blade (long story), my BX didn't even break a sweat.
Not sure of any other uses, but I'm sure I'll find something!
