first thing i used these for was yesterday after dropping a dead ash tree...

limbed it out then used the forks to hold it up & cut me some pieces off the trunk.. put down... scoot down... lather rinse repeat.

im used to working by myself so this was a HUGE time saver was about a 40' by 18" base tree.

NICE!!!

Washing the bucket and forks today before removing them
I noticed a place where water can be retained and cause rust.....

Drilled two drain holes diagonally front and rear for drainage.....

Probably need to shoot some black paint in there also :D

The 30 inch forks was the first thing I bought. With only a lift capacity of 5-800 pounds I did not see the advantage of longer forks. I have used them to move RR ties 4 -6 at a time, downed trees and brush, pallets a safe or two, pretty much anything I did not want to lift. I even use them to lift my riding mower to sharpen the blades or my rotary cutter (4 footer).

I do not have the stay bar but I also have had to use the two blades right next to each other as well as spread full apart. It is by far one of the handiest tools yet for around $100.

I sometimes wish I had a tractor that could lift more but the cost would have doubled. Still whether it is a portable work bench or cleaning up after a wind storm these forks are great.
