Hooks - welded/bolted to FEL Bucket

Lots of great discussion and points made in this thread! I myself went the welded route. These are stick welded with 7018 rod. Here's a couple pics after a quick coat of primer. I just picked up some Kubota orange and will shoot them once it warms up a little.

Notice BB's bucket isn't the light duty one, so the metal comes all the way up the back and across the top. The metal is also much heavier. Makes for a stronger weld and much less chance of any trouble.

I fabricated some lugs for the inside of the bucket. Welded the lugs on the inside of the bucket for heavy tugging and pulling and welded some hooks on the top for carrying stuff.

I have been a fabricator/ welder for 20 years. That is my profession.in my opinion drilling tapping is absolity the way to go. It’s removable and replaceable
