Just got my BX 2370 delivered, after looking at video's I noticed my tiller doesn't have a stand. Do I need to get a bolt-on-stand for it? On the right side it looks like where the two holes are that a bracket/stand could be bolted on, here's a photo.
Thanks

I am guessing to wonder what the gray bar with spring is. But yes i have a tan land pride and have to admit yours looks quite different compared to mine that has the bar to hold up tiller when not in use. Might check dealer for bar to hold up tiller for storage.

I posted here before asking the dealer about the stand, always seems to help to have as much info as you can before asking a dealer a question. Thanks for the reply.

Ok, what is the model of tiller and if there is a online manual that by chance is in pdf i could search for stand in the file. Mine is like picture below with stand you are looking for. Yours is so oddly bulker looking oddly.

Agree, check with your dealer, mine came with a stand and the online owner's manual shows one.

A couple more photo's, invoice reads, Land RTR0550-31 50" 05 Series.
The tube bracket's I've seen on Land Pride Tillers all look like they're welded on the side, as you can see in my first photo they'res no tube bracket on my tiller.

O.K, I called Land Pride and the fellow who I talked to checked out my tiller thread, my dealer invoice reads RTR when in fact it's a RTA tiller. The third photo I posted of the tiller shows a black rod at the bottom rear, that's the stand that you pull out. Thanks for all the replies.

I'd check with the dealer on that since I think a RTR is more $ than a RTA. I could be mistaken though. Don't want to not get what you paid for.

I did some checking and the RTR is about $230 more, I'm going to go over all the emails I had with the dealer to make sure there wasn't a change in the quote. Thanks for the reply.

I just checked all the emails ( a lot of them ) between the dealer and my self, there was a change in the quote on the same day and only by one hour....I got what I paid for.

Ok here is something weird i found on tiller, it does look like RTA is your tiller with a quick hitch connection. But, manual still reads RTR for your stand oddly.
So here are screen shots of manual for stand for you.

So this should help with setup install and maintenance to use stand on tiller. Mine is just a metal bar welded on side with a pin to hold it up. Hope this helps.

I think the operation manual should be stored inside the black tube that is bolted to your tiller. It is shown in the last photo in post #14

All of the tiller weight normally has the implement wanting to fall forward and not backward. Advertising pictures are usually photo shopped to make the item look better and kick stands are not that attractive.

Just be careful when you take it off to see what needs to be supported. It wants to rotate around the tines or the skids depending which is lower. Tines are usually the lowest.

Perhaps the dealer could point it out if you take enough pictures from every angle. The dealer may have missed installation of the support if they picked it out of the shipping crate with the tractor and never set it down.

Please post a photo of it when you get it setting by itself.

At the moment I'm not where the tractor is, it will be about a month before I actually see the tractor in person. The tiller does have the correct support according to the Land Pride rep I talked to, I will definitely post some pics when I get home. Thanks for the reply.

My tiller has the little kickstand that is supposed to keep it from falling forward, but it always lays backward and rest on the rear adjustable guard/panel. I don't think I have ever had it want to lay forward.
