This thread kind of tickles me. It goes from BX being to fragile to feathers being ruffled over whether it's a tractor or a mower faster than a cow patty hits the trail. Reminds me of the good old days when "oil" was mentioned and the war began.
I personally think of them as a heavy duty mower but I use 200 hp tractors all the time. I'm not trying to knock a BX, it's just how I think of them. Now take someone who's biggest machine has been a 8 hp snapper and the BX is a beast. No reason to get upset either way. I mean I was told my M9000 was a city tractor, not a farm tractor. I guess a big time row crop farmer might think that due to the lighter weight but that's okay. It works great for me on my hay/cattle farm which is what I bought it for.
My point, can't really get upset just because we all don't see eye to eye. One person may see something that others miss. Over the years I have gained some great knowledge from the best group on the net. My opinion of course, but this is the best forum going and I'm proud to be a member. Have a good one.
