Can anyone help with the codes that are displayed on my tractor?
The code are,
P0606, P0627 & P0629

The tractor runs and operates like it has zero issues.
Thanks

The 4 digit error codes are not typically in either the operator's manual or the shop manual, and so require a Kubota tech to access them. So unless someone logs in this weekend, the best thing to do is call your dealer. The general OBD codes eg p0606 also used in cars, suggest there is or was a problem with the ECM and that it will need to be hooked up to a dealer computer to clear the codes and fix the problem. 0627 has something to do with fuel pump circuits. Is your check engine light on?

Please let us know what you find out in case someone else has that problem.

If you start getting odd codes, coupled with codes for communication errors with the ecm, check the battery, cables, and charging system. As the voltage starts dropping, sensors start falling off the grid and spitting out a code.

I get that quite frequently with some of my tier 4 engines (not kubota). Techs are still learning the tech and often overlook some of the more obvious stuff. One of my first questions to them is if the alternator is working. Usually the answer is no, it does need a new alternator. What does that have to do with the codes :p

But unfortunately some codes when they pop need to be reset by the dealers lap top in order for the unit to operate correctly.

Being that it's a Saturday, I would call the dealer, talk to the service department and ask them what the codes are for. They should be able to look the list up and give you a basic idea of what's going on. Then you can make an informed decision as to what your next step should be ;)

No "check engine" light nor anything that can be heard or seen to be defective. Checked the 2 main fuses (50A & 40A) near the battery and all the other fuses at the fuse box, all ok.
Thanks

Good idea. I will check battery voltage in the morning to determine it's voltage with engine off, then recheck with engine running.
Thanks

Someone once told me that their Check Engine light burned out and it caused several codes to pop up. Just passing it on.
