i have a new rear cement mixer for my L3400 --It has 1 piston for the dumping so i need a hook up for 1 hose for the ram--what is the easiest and least expensive way to do this--Part numbers would be very helpful !!!! Thanks

I think Sammy is saying that you could disconnect the bucket curl hoses at their quick disconnects (or add a quick disconnect fittings if not already there) and then make up a couple of hoses to run from those disconnects to your cement mixer dump cylinder. When cement mixer is no longer needed just move it and reconnect the hoses to their original locations. Sounds like a good idea.

Ok so i disconnected the bucket curl hose and connected the 1 hose from the mixer--it will pick the mixer bucket but dont seem to get it to release

You need to use the lift circuit. The mixer is a single acting cylinder. Use the lift circuit to raise the mixer, put the lift circuit into float mode to lower the mixer. That or shut the tractor off and then move the joystick when ever you need to lower the mixer if you stay with the curl circuit.
After seeing the picture the mixer will gravity dump when the joystick is moved in the opposite direction. The hose is at the piston end of the cylinder meaning it will on pull the cylinder in under pressure. it has to have weight to dump. Try filling it with dirt and try it. We have a Woods 10' pull mower at work with the same style cylinder (hose on opposite end) it has pressure to raise it and gravity lowers it when you move the control. Hope I made sense of this for you.
