my Kubota L3200 hydrostat is normal when pedal is pressed slowly but once towards full speed it dies off and goes slow, from a stop is pressed hard all the way down it dies off and crawls right away, tips on whats going on or how to check pressure would be great, put new fluid and filter on both Kubota filter and fluid, thanks

You do not say how familiar you are with the HST drives but if you are new to them, they do take some getting used to. It took me a while to get used to it as it's counter to everything you are used to driving cars and such.

Assuming everything is working correctly....

Try this - Think of the drive pedal as more of an infinite gear shift (pressing down being shifting UP) and not so much an accelerator. Set the range for the work at hand, adjust the engine speed and then hit the pedal slowly. If the speed bogs down you either back off the pedal ("lowering your gear") or adjust your drive range.

Exactly. Speed is pedal all way down. Power is a gentle press on pedal.
Need more power? Select a lower range. The speed part comes in for travel when no soft ground or heavy pushing.

Looking and reading what the others have said, I am trying to understand if this is a tractor problem or user problem.

If you are in high gear and flat ground, then a little "pedal" it should move forward and as you increase speed and increase pedal you get to rolling good fashion - if in high gear and stomp the pedal - it is gonna moan like little b!tch.

On my BX - on an incline, high gear, lets say 20° incline, she is useless.....many have said that pressing on the pedal easy will get up the incline....horse hockey, when the BX25 FEL / BH has 7oolbs on the ass-end and 4oolbs on the front, there aint no way it can manage the hill. I have tried too many ways too many times. Now - even with a full bucket - flat ground, a little pedal and it will go lickety split. Now in low gear she will pull till the point where all tires are spinning.

now - are you in high gear and stomping it?
Or on flat ground and getting up to speed and thennnn something happening?
If you are moving then giving it more and it dies, there is something wrong.....
Explain further as to what happens and when it is happening.

Yes, exactly! Especially on the standard "L" series (L2800, L3400, L4400, L3200, L3800, L4600, L2501, L3301, L3901, L4701). The standard L's have a direct mechanical link from your foot pedal to the transmission, so you get a great "feel" but you also get the opportunity to put more pressure on the pedal than the tractor "wants"-so to speak. The GRAND "L" has a MUCH smoother HST, but it's all electronically activated-which might be better suited for some users. The standard L's will tell you when you're doing more than the tractor can handle, but not everyone knows the language, so they assume there's something wrong with it. There are 3 ranges for a reason, same on an RTV. If you need power, use low or medium, if you're running down the road between pastures, that is the only use for high range, IMO. I like to refer to it as "road gear".
