Started working on the dune buggy for the grand kiddos So far I've got it clean and welded the steering arm back on. I narrowed it down to a blown motor (no compression), and the electrical has been cobbed together and needs to be cleaned up and fixed. Turn signals need to be replaced as well.
So on to a transmission question. The motor and torque converter it uses are out of a Honda scooter. (Gy6 engine) It also uses an adapter on the drive shaft that also has a reversor built in, So you can back up. Found online where they sell the cable for the reverse. But not sure where the cable hooks up to it Supposedly what I was told is the cable works in junction with the parking brake lever. Anyone out there that has some experience with a similar set up for a go cart? The cart it a twister "hammerhead"
