you mean in the tie rods? If so - mine are the exact same way!1996 B7100 I have a good bit of play where the front axle bolts to tractor should this be tight or have some play there

D2Cat,If you're referring to where the front axle pivots under the engine, you can adjust that.
Remove the hairpin and tighten the nut. Some put a flat washer behind the nut to get it even tighter. Needs some slack, but not wobble. Remember to reinstall the hairpin.
If you have too much slack to adjust out the only way to get to the pin to replace is engine removal.
dayum I know that's true ! - off the top of your head ? what size is it ?It'll take you longer to find the wrench then to make the adjustment!
