Now you are cooking with GAS!!Much better using low gear. Since my original post I have gotten in the habit of using it that way about 95% of the time. Now I have no problems going up and down hills, over rough terrain, etc. It even helps when it comes to using the blade to push things over, smooth down piles of dirt/gravel....dramatically improves things and just makes the tractor feel more "tractor-like!" I have installed a set of Ken's Bolt-On Hooks with the Clevis Loops as well as Bro-Tek 3 1/2" spacers on the rear wheels and am really enjoying it now much better.
Thank you to everyone for your valuable input.
Hokie - not to 'jack the thread, but did you look at Bro-tek's skid plates?I ordered the under armor today from BXpanded, makes my third item from them - got a real human on the phone, nice young lady, great customer service.
