It looks like the ROPs is down in your pictures. I would think with concerns over flipping, you would have it up. Obviously trees with low branches can force you to operate with the ROPs down. (Remember the rule "ROPs up use the seat belt, ROPs down no seatbelt).
There is a neat (free) app for iPhone called "iHandy Level" where you can just set the iphone on any surface and it will give you the inclination (surface level in degrees) and shows a bubble-level). Pretty neat.
