My B7000 has only a hand throttle.
The throttle won't stay in the position it's set to, instead it reverts back to idle if I let it go.
The throttle lever pivots on a fixed rod with a washer and split pin holding it in place, so I can't adjust the tension at this point unless I add a fibrous washer of some sort.
I traced the control rod through and it's bolted to the top of some part of the engine. I tried tightening the bolt, but didn't try very hard because it looks like it's attached to an expensive part and I really didn't want to snap the bolt off.
Is it standard for this throttle to revert to idle when released or is this one worn ?
Any suggested fix ?
Thank you
