Anyone seen a stump grinder implement for BX25D?
I second that ! A buddy of mine and I rented a ditch witch.....about the time you thought you were getting somewhere, you'd hit a rock or root and damn near break your wrist or arm in the kick back.....I was sore for two days after that 8 hour event and 600 feet later!Your kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't with a stump grinder looked into renting one last year. All the big name rental company's around here quit carrying them do to maintainance headaches. Found a decent one in little rock from a smaller rental company that was a self propelled walk behind that was articulated. Had a 3 month waiting list, with weather issues you were looking at probably 5 months. Ended up renting a small one from home depot for 2 weekends. Ground 130 plus stumps. But by the end of the afternoon i could hardly move. If you rent the small one, make sure and have a young strong back to operate it
Spent 300$ on rental, save 3600$ for not having someone else come in. After that second weekend i was wishing i paid the 3900$I second that !
