Chevel, this is my dash on a L4310 and the lever on the left is for the cruise control.

Humm I thought I said that back there somewhere.It sounds like cruise control.
Push the pedal down to the desired speed and pull up on the lever.

My 30+ year old B7100HST has it it's a cool feature for long runs.
The only problem on the old models is the clutch or moving the handle was the only way to stop it, scared me the first time I went too stop and the HST pedal didn't do a dang thing except speed up!

Tried this cruise control lever out today........works great.Not sure how much I will use it as the tractor will be used mostly in the yard but nice to know I have it if I need it.Thanks again to you guys for helping me figure it out.

As the guys on here told me turns out its cruise control.....never would have guessed it....
