Greetings to All! I have a BX2370 that I would like to put a block heater in. Has anyone done this? What brand did you use? Is there an OE part or did you buy aftermarket?
I am with skeets on this one. A "Battery Tender" is the way to go. I run 4 or 5 of them with my gear. Watch out for the knock-off's and cheap imitations. They will end up costing you. You get what you pay for.Yup WELCOME,, and I have had no problems with mine either,, just a battery tender and she rolls right over
Welcome, I would probably just put a magnetic heater on a flat surface such as the bottom of the oil pan. I have never had any issues starting mine in the winter but I always have a battery tender hooked up to the battery.
I agree with warming the oil too. Just insure you do have a magnetic surface to attach the heater to before you buy a heater. Aluminum oil pans - not so much.A heater will reduce wear. Cold oil is thick.

I installed the stock block heater from the dealer on my 2370 last fall. Not too big a job, you will have to drain some antifreeze, not all. I found good info on the process here on the forum. If I remember correctly, getting to the rad drain plug was the biggest PITA, its kinda hidden and well obstructed.Greetings to All! I have a BX2370 that I would like to put a block heater in.
