I pride myself on my reading comprehension, and have deciphered some atrocious spelling and grammar many times. But no matter how many times I read that, I’m still a lost by ball in high weeds on that one.

I have worked with many folks whose first language was not english, and their translations and syntax was sometimes hard to follow. But I am stumped.

Do you walk to school or take your lunch?

Is it Tuesday or Pittsburgh?

Don’t look at me with that tone of voice!

That's not even from the boss (at the same place) who had wonderful sayings like, "We'll burn that bridge when we get to it," and "that's gonna blow up like a Christmas tree." Oh, and one of his best ones, "Ultrasonic welding and a gun to your head are the same thing."
