In life it's important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.

If you agree with them....then you will both be wrong.

In hindsight, it probably would have worked better if I’d told the lady at my father’s PCP office that I was him and I needed to cancel my appointment because I died two days ago. I don’t think she would have questioned that at all.

BTW, hope your wife’s recovery is progressing well.
I almost hit like on this, but then.....

The other day I needed to get a EKG and the only place was at the only local hospital that is still in business. So, I went to their website and looked up "tests" and together with all the other lab test was EKG. The website instructed me that for any test, I needed an appointment and in order to do that I had to create an account and a profile. So, I thought that it would be easy since I had spent the Easter weekend in the hospital and they would have my records, right? But nooo. I had to enter all my information including insurance, family history etc. from scratch. After spending about 15 minutes creating the account, I try logging in for my appointment. The website then tells me that I can not get an appointment for an EKG. EKG's are "on a walk-in basis only". 😖:poop:

@skeets - Exactly. I see the way some kids talk to their parents and still cringe. It never even occurred to me to back-talk my parents. Of course, I was raised in the 50's and 60's before the Nanny State became a thing.
