So you cant hurt the hydraulic cylinders by fulling extending them and pulling? I heard something to that effect on one of those new tractor owner youtube videos and Im trying to understand what to watch out for.
In my opinion, no. Not in 'normal' use anyway. So you cant hurt the hydraulic cylinders by fulling extending them and pulling?
No having the cylinders at full extension will not hurt the seals.Maybe I misunderstood the issue but I thought pulling the cylinders out all the way under a load would damage the seals. Not a bending concern, but putting to much pressure against the seals.
Yes both pics are from your site. Im trying to determine where to put the hooks. I anticipate having to pull straight up and was concerned that curling the bucket under, as in the first pic, would stress the cylinder seals too much under heavy weight.
Well said. The long and short of it is if you use the loader as intended and within capacity, there in NO issues.
People get in trouble when that start yanking and pulling hard with the loader, it's not meant for that. It's designed to LIFT and PUSH, other activities are trying to pull the loader off of the tractor.
Don't overthink it.
What tractor/loader/bucket do you have?
That’s pretty slick. That rock was heavy.Just another option in case you haven't see it.
No drilling or welding and you can store them in your toolbox.
Ok, thanks for the clarification. In my opinion, no. Not in 'normal' use anyway.
Yikes! Before building forks to move things like that, I rigged stuff to minimize chances of scraping and denting the innocent. Below was handy for keeping a low profile for reaching and/or setting the RFM on a shelf. That tractor's going to get scratched
