So you cant hurt the hydraulic cylinders by fulling extending them and pulling? I heard something to that effect on one of those new tractor owner youtube videos and Im trying to understand what to watch out for.

Maybe I misunderstood the issue but I thought pulling the cylinders out all the way under a load would damage the seals. Not a bending concern, but putting to much pressure against the seals.

Yes both pics are from your site. Im trying to determine where to put the hooks. I anticipate having to pull straight up and was concerned that curling the bucket under, as in the first pic, would stress the cylinder seals too much under heavy weight.
No having the cylinders at full extension will not hurt the seals.

Like Kenny has said the only risk of damage would be if you tried to force the rods back in at full extension which bends the rods.

The long and short of it is if you use the loader as intended and within capacity, there in NO issues.

People get in trouble when that start yanking and pulling hard with the loader, it's not meant for that. It's designed to LIFT and PUSH, other activities are trying to pull the loader off of the tractor.

Don't overthink it.

What tractor/loader/bucket do you have?
Well said.

I use the hooks I posted, my little tractor cannot lift more than the top lip of the bucket can support. For larger tractors the lift capacity vs the strength of the bucket lip could be an issue. I purchased your hooks for my brother-in-law this year, his tractor is much larger and these work very well on his machine.

I never pull from the bucket, I was taught that when I was young. Bad leverage and likely to break something.

Thanks
