Can't find my thread from last week re Kubota T 1560 fuel cap

Thank you very much to each and every member that tries to help others. I haven't tested those links yet but if they are solid, that will help me. That is of course unless this post gets deleted in which case so will the resources. The only reason I didn't order from the suggested resource is...

Can't find my thread from last week re Kubota T 1560 fuel cap

You know what is really, REALLY disappointing is that before my post was taken down I searched and looked at posts from the member that brought attention to the "off-color script" and you wouldn't believe it, but his/her posts were in some instances,,, err,,, ummm,,,colorful. I'm just saying.

Can't find my thread from last week re Kubota T 1560 fuel cap

I have searched high and low for my thread, (F!@#$%^g Excuse Me) bc there were some good resources for parts suppliers from members. I ordered a cap from some outfit selling on Amazon which, as per the description will fit many Kubota models. The cap I received today was the correct internal...

    BX25 Water in Fuel

Many of these guys are experts, I am not, but no one addressed your specific question re water somehow entering fuel system from a leaky head (gasket?). Not that I can think of. Contaminated fuel is just about the only thing possible if you are not parking out in the weather. You will most...

    Daily Chuckle

Why can't you hear a pterodactyl going to the bathroom? Because the p is silent. Someone asked me "where did your wife go hunting?" And I said "Alaska". He said "never mind, I'll ask her myself." What do you call a lazy kangaroo? A pouch potato.

LA 1150 Lift Arm Cylinder Rebuild, No Problem

LA 1150 Lift Arm Seals Replaced Without A Hitch; Well One Anyway I have been busy with other emergencies and did not update. For those interested I thought I would do so now. After I made a fool of myself driving to a hydraulic cylinder shop, 45 min one way, all the time thinking the worst...

Advice before I open LA 1150 boom arm cylinders

Thanks for the response. It is amazing how many specific problems are addressed on the forum with very good responses. I have been on a few forums where it seems the more degrading a responder is to the op, the higher the entertainment value, and that sux for those of us who don't turn wrenches...

Advice before I open LA 1150 boom arm cylinders

Thanks for your input! I have not gotten any good info on a few questions that I have. 1) When I am ready to re-install the cylinder with new seals do I need to fill it, much like oil and/or hydraulic filters before installing them? 2) Is there a procedure to bleed air from cylinders? I watched...

Advice before I open LA 1150 boom arm cylinders

Thanks! I did see those on one YouTube vid that I watched. It seemed to assure that by using this aid/tool that the seal landed squarely where it should rest. Again, thanks.

Advice before I open LA 1150 boom arm cylinders

Thanks for your input! I watched a number of YouTube vids but none for my specific loader cylinders. I intend to take pics b4 taking everything apart bc I understand that seals can be flat or o-rings, it matters which order they are placed and every other little detail that makes a difference of...

Advice before I open LA 1150 boom arm cylinders

I took both my cylinders to a hydraulics shop today. They cracked the caps on both cylinders for $50 each, and they stopped what they were working on to help me like, right now. They would have done the seal kits as well for $125 each, but I told them I wouldn't learn anything that way. So I am...

    LA 1150 Boom Cylinder Rebuild

The Kubota sales/service center was not only high as a cats back but they quoted 6 to 8 weeks turnaround. Thanks but no thanks. I did buy the parts from them and I think they charged about the same as Messicks but no shipping cost at the dealer. I am now going to post a new set of questions...

    LA 1150 Boom Cylinder Rebuild

Guys and Gals; I have not been on the forum for years bc my old 'pooter died and I had to get a new one and try to retrieve old bookmarks and logins. My L5450 with LA1150 loader blew the boom arm seal on one side and I would love for someone to advise me on removing the cap/end that holds the...
