Yes, the filter change is big, but the fluid will still be good. (Make certain to use the Kubota Transmission fluid). Be prepared for the mess and be quick with your hands, should be fine.

I also do not get to the site very often. I am basically looking for anything. I will send you a text as well but some items I was looking for was:

*The mower deck lift lever assembly. My pin is bent and the lever will not stay in the slot to keep the mower deck either up or down.

I just noticed I missed changing my transmission oil filter at 200 hrs, did you do that?? It states to drain the system, change the filter and then refill, I assume with the old as it calls for changing the oil at 400 hrs. Seems simpler to just change the filter catching the small amount I spill.

Wow, did not see that I had a message. Sorry. I am approaching 400 hrs now so I've done quiet a few maintenance services on my MX5200 already. The biggie is the FEL bolts, some were looser than I expected at the 50HR & 100HR. I have not readjusted the brakes or done the toe in for the front tires but everything else is pretty straight forward using the manual.

I live just outside of Winston Salem. I bought my Grand L 4060 from Riddle Tractor here in Winston Salem. I paid $35k cash for it. They included an installed stereo and rear works lights for that price. At the time, Kubota was offering a $1,500 additional rebate for paying cash. When I found out about all the hoops you have to jump through and insurance requirements when financing through Kubota, I said no thanks. I called 5 Kubota dealers in my area. Riddle beat everyone's price by more than $1,000. The owner is Vance Riddle. He is the only one you should speak to if calling. I have been very pleased with my tractor. Just did the 50 hr service last weekend. She's good to go now for 350 more hours until my next service.

Hey. Sorry, just saw this message from you. I'll try to answer all the questions. First, my opinion is the HST trans is more quiet than my previous L3200. The cab may have something to do with that. If I were going to use a tractor as you described, I would get the HST hands down. It just makes for simple operation when using the loader and short trips.

I changed the coolant on my B 2620 as the manual recommends at the 2 year mark. Manual says capacity is 4.1 gal, I take radiator cap off, loosen petcock, drain, only about a gallon and a half comes out, flush with running hose for about 10 minutes. Refill takes less than 2 gallon of coolant mix. What am I doing wrong? radiator was full when i started and full when I finished, got over 2 gallons left?? No problems but don't seem right.

Today the fan belt came of my bx2670. I shut the engine off just when the temp lite came on. It's got 22.3 hours on it. This is the second time that it's been in the shop. I have had it 2 months. I have friends that have kubotas longer then 10 years. That's never been in the shop... l'm not happy.

I technically have not gotten mine yet. just been searching for quotes. Barlow quoted me 18,900plus 1000 to ship. Thats with Hydraulics, FEL, weight box, loaded tires, qA bucket and forks.

Good morning Vic. I was checking out your video on how to tap into hydraulic lines. I have the L285 model and I wonder if I could use some kind of distribution block that would distribute the oil to the three point hitch and to the remote valve simultaneously. I was looking for something like that in the princess auto catalogue and I came across a valve subplate with SKU: 8163453 whish is called 1-Station D03 Valve Subplate. I wonder if you could have a look at this and tell me what you think?

Well all, finally did it. Purchased my first Kubota a B2650HSDC with FEL, MMM, front mount snow blower and sweeper. Looking to get forks, post hole auger and now some hooks for buckets and lights. May have to change tires to turf. One thing I have to say is I got a Gravely zero turn and after visiting the Kubota dealer thinking would have went with Kubota as seems to be built much sturdier even though same engine.
