New to the site, Hello, Can anyone tell me where I can find detailed instructions for the Removal and Install of the Injector pump on my B2601

Thank you, I have already downloaded two manuals with no instruction.

Hello. I don't have much for B series parts. Primarily just older L series parts. I would give Daryl a call. He is in Alabama and a super good guy. He has lots of the B series parts. If he can't help you you may try All States Ag Parts. Daryl's number is area code 205-259-8130. Good luck in your search. Thank you Lance

I have a L3000DT, the safety switch on what I call the speed selector has gotten to where it is picky to find in order to crank & the tractor will only work in slow speed. It shifts fine but will only move if it is in what I call turtle speed. Need help in what to do!
Thank you , the starting problem was a bad glow plug. Now I'm working on the hydraulic loader. The loader raises very very slow and not much lifting power. The tilt on the bucket works just fine and so does the three point on the back. I checked the hydraulic pressure at the control valve its about 2000 pds. I took the control valve apart and didn't see anything wrong with it. I put new seals in it. What do I do now? Thanks
I wanted to reach out to you as I saw your post about your B2650 and the LA535 loader. I'm looking to put the same loader on my B2650 but but cant get a straight answer from the dealer if it will fit. One question is whether the LA535 loader subframe will fit on the B2650 since this loader is really for the newer LX series tractors. Could you tell me the name of the dealer and who you dealt with there so I can get a straight answer before a dive into this? Thanks!
Hello, I'm working on adding a hydraulic thumb to my BH90 backhoe. In researching I have found that the BH90 and the BH92 appear to use the same control valve (Kubota Part # 7K500-63010 ). since the BH92 has an option for the thumb I'm assuming that the same add on valve assembly (part# 7K523-8510-0) for the BH92 will work on my BH90? my question is does anyone know who manufactures that add on valve, or is there another source besides Kubota? I've looked into adding a diverter valve but think it would be a lot cleaner to do it with the valve assembly option if i can source something more reasonably priced!

I don't know who is producing Kubota valves today, but when I had a 2004 BX22 and I needed a valve part, the valve was made by Parker. The local Parker dealer examined the valve and couldn't determine what it was made up of for parts. He said that Kubota requires that Parker make changes that only Kubota parts will work with. In the industry, this is known as a proprietary part and isn't serviced outside of Kubota. I would just buy the Kubota part and keep your life simple.
Hi lugbolt - I recently came across your 9/9/2020 post on "BH92 Backhoe leaking on MX5400". I just took delivery yesterday of a L4760 with a BH92 and a third function valve for a grapple. I've got two hours on it and the backhoe is leaking hydraulic fluid from the top of the valves and pooling on the operator floor. I was digging up stumps and moving them with the grapple so I suspect the third function valve was not plumbed correctly, as you mentioned in your post.

I'm wondering if you had any additional information you could share? You mentioned a publication on the Kubota dealer only page and I'd like to be able to point it out to the dealer.

Thanks for your help!

yeah they have to install the 3rd function hoses in the correct order. Basically if it's installed incorrectly, it back feeds pressure to the return circuit of the backhoe. When this happens, it knocks the o-rings out of the spool valves and of course leaks.

You may be wise to ask the dealer to look into this-there was a bulletin on it about 2018 I think. I no longer have access to the stuff, maybe you can get North Idaho Wolfman to pull that bulletin up? I think he's still got access. Dealer I worked for cut my access to training and everything before I left-which they aren't' supposed to do...I could have reported that to Kubota and they'd probably get a talkin to by the reps but it was not really worth my time.

Thanks! I haven't had a chance yet to check the order of the hydraulic circuit, but I also found a bulletin that says the same thing can happen if the 3pt lever is not in the forward most position or down position of 3pt arms. In PSB-2019-155-R1: L-Series; Leaking Backhoe Valves and Installing Non-Kubota 3rd Function Valves Description, it states "This same symptom of leaking backhoe O-rings can also result from a misadjusted 3pt feedback linkage or a 3pt lever that is not in the forward most position or down position of 3pt arms (also called the 3pt float position)."

I have been running the backhoe with the 3pt lever in the rearward most position or up position of 3pt arms since that was just the position it was in when it was delivered on Monday.

I have been dealing with MB Tractor and find they are very accommodating to the customer. When I ordered a part that had to be transferred from another one of their stores, they kept me apprised of all developments until it arrived. It was supposed to be in inventory at one store, but when they went to get it, it wasn't there, so it had to be ordered. Took an extra few days, but at least I knew when it would arrive. A friend has bought 2 tractors from them and even though the price had gone up from the time it was ordered to the delivery time, they honored the original quote even though there was no depost on the tractor.
recently blew out 3 freeze plugs. replaced 2 on side, filled with water. still leaked above transmission. had to remove gas tank to find leak. well, there is another freeze plug. well live and learn.

then filled with water. it took 4 gallons of water. or I might say oil/water. well live and learn.

thinking head gasket or busted block. took of stuff and valve cover. when i took off valve cover there were 3 MORE (I think were freeze plugs, as well). one was laying on top of block, completely out.

i cannot find anything that tells me what they are. so, I can ask intelligently for a part at dealership.

questions: is this a freeze plug or an internal freeze plug?
can i just tap it back in or get another one?
I will drain and flush everything, of course but is there other little Suprises (like internal freeze plug or the like) I should look for?

bye and bye there WAS rust on surface of that one that was out internal freeze plug but none on others.

thanks in advance for any comments, suggestions or help!

appreciate some input from all my new friends out there. I recently moved into the new tractor owner category having purchased a 2022 LX2610. I loved my 1987 John Deere 855 compact diesel but after 20 years it is worn out and we decided to move into a new Kubota. My problem is after only 36 hours we have gone through over 2 quarts of hydraulic fluid. The yellow dipstick for the golden hydraulic oil (don't get me started on that!) has been at or below the fill line 4 times already. We have crawled underneath and have not seen any evidence of any leaks. We just had 50 hour service done on it at our Kubota dealer and told him our problem and they could not find any leaks or any evidence that fluid is leaking or mixing in other areas internally where it is not supposed to be. Obviously something is going on that shouldn't be but no one has any idea what it is. wonder if anyone has any experience with this or any ideas where the fluid is disappearing to. Thanks.
Hi Lance,

I saw your comment in a post from 2019 about having a bevel gear case that would fit a L185DT. I am trying to find two to fit a L245DT, and know that the two tractors take the same part (35220-43440). Do you still have one or two? I am in Northern California as well, up in Eureka. I know I can get them new, but it they are available used and in good shape, might as well give them new life in an old tractor. While I'm asking, any chance of the front wheels as well?

I figured it's worth a shot, in the event you still have the L245DT or parts.

Thanks,

Bill

my L 245 DT tractor has starting issues. starter klicks most of the time when trying to start. If I tap on starter or try it different times the starter works correctly. Purchased new "direct replacement " starter and it did the same thing just clicks. new starter is quite different no nose cone around bendex, acts like bendex is not long enough to engage in flywheel. Installed original starter back in tractor. Did notice a post about adding a relay to correct the problem. Can you send a diagram and what relay was used in this application ?
Do you still have a bucket for a AL 402? And if so how much are you looking for? And if not how much did you let it go for? Just curious as I have been searching for one myself.

Thanks
I lost $3500 on a land plane that was supposed to ship on 2/1/2024 that I ordered in August of 2023. I have all the supporting emails and original invoice.
I have a L2250DT and It is Leaking Engine Oil severely from the back of the Engine, I believe to be the Main Oil Seal leaking. I just bought it and it did have a leak, but after I changed the Oil it now runs out at about a rate of 1 quart per hour. So I need to Replace the Main Oil Seal, I believe. Does anybody have any tips to a remove everything in front and unbolting the engine and moving just the engine forward enough to access the main oil seal? That way I would not have to hoist it up. Right now I don't have a hoist yet.
