ZG227 lack of power right side

I have a ZG227 that is having lack of power on the right side hydro. Has anyone had this problem and how bad is this going to be.

First check that something hasn't got loose in the lever linkage. Lift the seat and compare both sides along the complete assembly to see if something looks out of whack.

FYI my throttle linkage would rattle itself loose after a while and I wouldn't be able to get to full throttle. I ended up replacing the standard nut holding the linkage position with a nylon lock nut and never had the problem since.

Does it lack power in fwd and reverse?

The mower lacks power in forward and reverse. I have looked at the linkage but
can not see anything loose or detached I also changed the fluid so I could look for metal flakes(found none). There might have been some problems with some ZD's Hydro trans axles and was wondering if the trans axles where the same. Also I was wondering if anyone has had to rebuild one

Did it happen all of a sudden? There is some kind of 'tow' or freewheel bypass lever on them. Maybe it got pushed?
