My zd331 sticks engaged mower but still doesn't work. I have to use pliers on the shaft going to front of transmission to get it to disengage. You can't pull pto lever back with handle. This just happened out of no where.

What lever are you talking about, PTO, or Motion?

It's like something gets in a bind. I can push the lever to engage easily and nothing happens. It like it is not engaged. But then it won't let me pull it back with out taking channel locks and turning the shaft #10 back to get the lever to go back to start position.

Very common problem, Either #120 or #60 is very slightly bent. There is a kit that consists of those two parts is available from Kubota. They have improved the parts by moving the location of the holes and pin on the handle to keep linkage from going over center and catching. The only function of the spring is to hold the PTO lever in the OFF position or into the Engage notch.

According to the diagram, it should be # 150 in your parts listing.

You can verify these numbers at kubota.com.

K3181-94610 KIT,LEVER PTO less than or equals serial #31486

K3181-94612 KIT,LEVER PTO greater than or equals serial #31487

Somewhere near $35 online
