ZD326 Grease Fitting Access

The left side belt cover has a nice hole to access the grease fitting but the right does not, the cover must be removed to grease.

Any idea why?

It doesn't matter as I have now opened the cover up but was just pondering a senseless subject.

Maybe they forgot or maybe there is no fitting under there. Ever look?

Oh yeah, everytime I grease it I remove the cover. The manual even states the cover has to be removed to access the fitting.

Maybe cheaper to print it in the book than fix all of them,, who knows

If it's a 2 second job to remove cover then leave it alone. If it takes longer then drill a hole and put a body plug in it to cover hole. Or leave it open like the other side.

My ZD326 was purchased in 2012 and the zerk is on the side of the spindle housing. Easily accessible on each side without removing anything. It’s located under pulley

Are you the original owner ? , the exposed one looks like plastic may have been drilled ?

I am the original owner. It was molded with the hole, it wasn't drilled
