Z411 zero turn mower deck adjustment

I have a Z411 48” my mower deck adjustment knob will not turn much. It seems it has been getting worse every time I mow. I bought my mower new and 4 years old with 70 hrs. I would appreciate advise how I can free the knob up……thanks

Thank you very much for this helpful link. I will follow their advise and clean and lube the deck hight knob.

When I took delivery of my Z422 I mentioned to the sales manager how difficult the deck adjustment knob was…he tried it and said holy crap! That’s not good, and summoned a tech to fix it then and there. A little lube on the “stepper shaft” of whatever you call it, and voila! Just like new and many hours later, still turns easily!
