Ok all, I posted about the loss of power on my Z121S last week, thanks for your replies. I just installed the new fuel line that sits in the fuel tank. There is now a screen on the end of the pipe but the pipe is about half an inch longer than the original. I only hope that it does not kink in the tank but it seemed flexible enough. I also replaced the fuel filter. The original pipe and valve in the tank were clean, blew em out with the compressor, nothing. I have yet to put her through her paces after installing the new parts.
Main concern at present, the routing of the fuel line. I ran it through the hole in the frame up to the tank. It looked odd as it is near one of the levers. I made the cardinal sin of not taking a pic of the original routing. Take a look at the attached and let me know what you think. Appreciate it!

I made the dealer replace mine as it is a recalled item.

He also had to replace and reroute the wiring under the ignition switch because of a chance to catch fire, another recalled item.
