That is one mean s.o.b. Not enough to buck them off, let's throw ourselves on the ground on top of them and gore them where it will hurt the most. Wonder how many cowboys would throw their entry fee away if they drew that bull?

Those guys are tough as steel when they're 20, but by the time they're 50 it's all come back to haunt them!

They are going to live forever, make lots of money, have a reputation know all around the rodeo circuit, and have some nice belt buckles. Then live 30-40 years in pain!

Wow - never had the need to ride a bull....guess a good choice.

As a kid, my brother and I made our ~100 cows/heifers/calves pets; we were always around them. Had a cow that loved peanut butter and jelly sandwiches - just a piece......

We used to go get them from day pasture - - get them all headed in the right direction, and climb on a back and ride the rest of the way!

So true. I worked with a guy years ago who rode bulls & other rodeo events on weekends. He now looks 80+, and he's only early 60s. He limps, moves slow, can't stand up straight... pretty sad.

Oddly enough, there are a lot of large animal vets that are in the same boat. Some of those critters are just not grateful.

My nephews are bull riders, young guys 20's 30s, and there are pieces of titanium throughout their bodies. When they get my age I imagine their youthful endeavors will catch up with them.

Often times the actions of the mean bulls can enable the rider to score more points if their good enough.
A bull not bucking much and providing a easy ride makes it very difficult for the rider to score high.

I was raised on a ranch, aside from being tossed by horses I was never nuts enough to try a bull.
We delivered stock for the rodeos.
Never did bulls, they are really hard to deal with, we did Steers and Horses. ;)

OMG! Who forced those guys to ride those bulls? Was it an early prison release program? /sarc

A local talk radio guy out here (Mike Broomhead) rode bulls a couple years as a youngster and he says he did it because he was "young and stupid." He says, "Now I am old and stupid but, not stupid enough to get on a bull again." LOL...
