Would you buy a tractor sight unseen?

I wouldn’t buy used sight unseen but I’d probably buy a new one that way. If you find one at Huckabones, I’d go check it out for you.

Edit- just checked their page and they have a L3130 used.

I would. Talk to seller and establish trust. Get more pictures. Get used checklist ect. Bought a classic car unseen as shipping was less than flying out to see it and there were other buyers interested. I had been looking for years. Trusted seller and everything came out fine. If I would have had any questions about it I would have backed out.

Bought my dodge truck in Atlanta, Ga. from an individual. Talked to him several times and a couple of references. He had paperwork to back up his conversation. I flew down there, bought it and drove it home.

That was a fun flight. Wife and I was in KC airport early in the morning and trying to get through the metal detector was a repeat performance. Went through and failed, removed my belt and still failed. Turned my pockets inside out, no pass. Removed my shoes, no pass. I began to unbuckle my pants and remove them when the agent let me through. I found out later the challenge was it was a year after the NY attack, and we had one way tickets. All one way tickets got special scrutiny.

Bought a Durango in Houston, Tx. the same way. I paid a local mechanic $100 to put it on the lift and inspect it before I flew down. The seller was fine with it. No problem there either. Guess I'm just lucky.

Did you know a pack of gum will set off the detector? I forgot I had a pack in a cargo pocket once. I was damn near naked till the pulled out the wand and I reached into my pocket and pulled out a pack of foil wrapped gum. That was fun.
