L185DT-L1730FEL -Woods L59 , Kubota plow blade, Case 220 w/ snowblower / blade /mower / Cyclone rake
Anyone ever try converting a Wood's L59 for right hand discharge?
I have a cyclone rake leaf collector that is ONLY r/h . My Wood's deck is left hand and I want to try and convert it so I can use the cyclone rake on the Kubota.
Looks like I can remove the right cover and put it on the left, but I need to address the blade rotation and blades.
I could cross the belt in the center and feed it around the pulleys the other way, flip or replace the blades, and change the blocking plates.
OR I could just run it CCW as is and hope the vac will suck the leaves from the deck (I'll try this first).
Sure wuld save wear and tear on my lawn tractor, not to mention cutting time to suck up all those oak leaves that will be falling in the next month or two.
