They look like the ones on the othr BX23S that I’ve found with search. What part do you think is wrong?

Well, the controls I saw go straight up and away from the operator and then like 90 degree back toward operator..

Have the dealer correct this. Who knows, they might have installed the whole valve 180 degrees off.

I also see the grease zerks on the BH are painted over! This has been a problem for others as the pin does not accept grease causing a failure.

Is your BX23S one of the new models with the different grill gaurd? There may have been a change to the BH handles also?

must be NEW style levers ( Z shaped) mine are 'L' shped, like Gibbys. had to check....only have 650 hrs on the beastie....
the painted over Zerks is common. Carefully scrape off, buy a NEW geasegun ( Kubota only use ),do every Zerk, then 'exercise' the joints with full extensions several time, then regrease..
Also check tire air pressures....

Also check your front differential oil, it will be bone dry.

I have a 2016 b2301 and the control arms are a tight fit, for me!, i have to be careful about snagging them with the tractor running and causing a unwanted movement. yours has more clearence but will it be more tiring on your arms because of extended reaching? Could this be the reason for new or different design?

My controls seem to be different than what's advertised/seen on others. Are they the wrong controls?
Yes, UNLESS they changed them, on the NEWER models, with the redesigned grill, they are wrong. Also, see you have the R-14 rears. They were NOT available when I purchased my BS 23s last year.
