Dog needed out a little after 5am and this is what I found. Unknown to me a wire had broken off my bilge pump. On the bright side after flushing the motor real good it still works great.

You owe your dog something big. If you'd found it later it would have been much worse

I was very lucky, most the stuff was in a big plastic container that floated off which we found later. My battery, solar panel and debt finder were still in the boat. The only thing I'm missing is my fillet knife. Your right about the seats Tooljunkie, not sure they'll ever be the same but I think they are pretty much dried out now.

Where i used to work, boat maintenance was part of my job. Draining water making sure it was stored properly and covered. Supervisor almost sunk the boat, back at the yard, hes yellin at me. Who takes the plug out of the boat??i yelled right back,me! Who doesent check to make sure its in??

I thought it was funny, his boss (Big boss) wasnt impressed watching him scramble to get it on trailer and drained.

My fault, no way.

I had to dry out a set of seats, velcro on backrest part and cushion comes out. Pulling seat off pedestal and placing base vertical most water should find its way out.

Make it idiot- proof, and someone will make a better idiot! :D

Daren Todd, I like your sig. We had a saying when I was on AD in the Navy. You cant sailor proof something if he can't screw it up in some way he will just throw it over the side.

Sorta the same thing
